About

Carly Wohl has dedicated her career to vulnerable children and families, and her law practice is guided by her personal belief that the best interests of kids and parents is served by resolving divorce and custody conflicts outside the courtroom.

Carly was employed as a private nanny while earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. After graduating from Stetson University College of Law and gaining admission to the Florida Bar, Carly served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 10th Judicial Circuit. Carly was assigned to the Child Support Enforcement Division, where she focused exclusively on the establishment, modification, and enforcement of the rights of children to financial support.

In 2007, Carly transitioned to a staff attorney position at a nonprofit civil legal services agency. Over the next 14 years, Carly advocated for the family law and immigration needs of low-income families, particularly survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and violent crime. When Carly departed the agency in 2021, she had proudly served as the Executive Director for nearly four years.

In private practice, Carly’s focus is on resolving family law conflict without litigation and with a priority to serve the best interests and wellbeing of children. Carly educates, empowers, and supports families in efficient, practical, and cost-effective approaches to divorce, co-parenting challenges, and complex family and child dynamics.

Carly has served as a volunteer with the Children’s Services Council of Highlands County, Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program, Highlands County Bar Association, Highlands Art League, and Highlands County schools.
